Travel tips for Marrakech

First price is always 3-4x what they'll actually accept. Start at a third and meet in the middle. Don't feel bad about it, it's expected and part of the culture. Walk away if the price isn't right and they'll often call you back.

Meters are unreliable or drivers just won't use them. Agree on the price before you sit down or use the Careem app. Airport to the Medina should be around 70-100 MAD, don't pay more.

Traditional houses with courtyards converted into guesthouses. Way more character than a generic hotel, often cheaper, and you're right in the middle of everything. Ours had a rooftop terrace with breakfast included.
