Ok so i randomly found this place called the advertising museum tokyo in shiodome and its honestly fascinating?? Like who knew ads could be this interesting but they have vintage japanese commercials going back decades

Its free which is already amazing for tokyo but the retro vibe is incredible. They have these old coca cola ads from the 60s and early anime commercial art that looks nothing like modern stuff. Plus vintage tokyo street scenes in the backgrounds

Located in caretta shiodome basement. Takes maybe an hour to see everything but its such a random slice of japanese pop culture history. Perfect rainy day activity when youre tired of temples and want something completely different
