Golden Horn ferry hits Ottoman neighborhoods tourists skip
The Golden Horn ferry route hits historic neighborhoods that most tourists miss entirely. Starts at Eyüp, then stops at Ayvansaray, Fener, and Balat before reaching Karaköy.
Each stop shows different Ottoman architectural styles and local life. Ferry runs every 30 minutes, costs 25 TRY, and gives you waterfront views the whole way. Much more interesting than just doing Balat as a quick Instagram stop. You can hop off at any neighborhood and catch the next ferry.
