This weekly market in Feriköy district is where serious collectors go for authentic pieces. Soviet-era items from when Turkish workers lived in Eastern Europe, Ottoman copper work, vintage textiles, old Turkish movie posters.

Take metro M2 to Şişli-Mecidiyeköy then bus to Feriköy. Market runs 8am-4pm Sundays only. Prices negotiable but sellers know their stuff. Bring cash and patience for serious treasure hunting.

Way better selection than touristy markets. Found a 1930s Istanbul guidebook in German here for 35 lira.
