Forget the design plaza. Real vintage is in narrow alleys between dongdaemun station and main markets. Tiny shops with genuine 80s-90s korean fashion, band tees, retro accessories.

Look for clothes hanging outside - usually best selection, prices negotiable. Most open after 11am, close around 9pm. Cash only. Some of my best finds were in basement shops you'd walk right past.
