Skip the elephant camps completely — Kids get bored watching basic tricks and the ethical issues are genuine. Phuket Zoo near Chalong has monkey shows, bird demonstrations, and crucially — Benches everywhere for collapsing parents.

Take the blue songthaew to Aquarium from Phuket Town (40 baht) rather than taxi chaos. Kids love the open-air truck experience and it's proper local transport.
