Everyone knows Karon Viewpoint but Windmill Viewpoint near Nai Harn is where you want to be for golden hour. Old turbines create incredible silhouettes against sunset.

Best light 5:30-6:30pm. Bring wide angle if you have one - vista stretches from Nai Harn to Kata. Way less crowded than tourist viewpoints.

Road up is steep and narrow, take it slow on scooter. Small parking area at top.
