Phuket Town Weekend Market — early morning produce and late evening street food
Saturday-Sunday market near the bus terminal that locals actually use for both morning shopping and evening dining. Fresh fruit, vegetables, prepared food, and household goods at real prices. Morning market opens 6am and best produce selection is gone by 10am, then evening food stalls fire up around 5pm for dinner crowds.
Try the khao tom (rice porridge) stalls in the morning for 40-60 THB - proper comfort food. Mango sticky rice here is half the price of beach vendors and twice as good. Evening brings different energy with grilled meats and local dinner favorites.
Mix of covered stalls and open-air vendors. Gets crowded during both peak times but the energy is authentic market chaos. Park on side streets since the main area fills up fast during both morning and evening rushes.
