These aren't just parks - they're basically forests inside Paris. Bois de Boulogne is 2.5 times bigger than Central Park and has actual hiking trails, lakes you can rent boats on, and the Jardin d'Acclimatation for families.

Bois de Vincennes has a medieval castle (Château de Vincennes), a zoo, and trails where you forget you're in a major city. Both are perfect if you need a break from museum-hopping and crowds.

Metro access is easy - Line 1 to Château de Vincennes or RER C to Avenue Foch for Boulogne. Pack a picnic and spend half a day. Way better than fighting crowds in Luxembourg Gardens.
