Turkish breakfast has more plant options than you'd think
Order 'serpme kahvaltı' and ask them to skip cheese and eggs. You'll still get olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, jam, honey, fresh bread, börek (if spinach), and various veggie dishes. Many places do roasted eggplant and pepper spreads that are naturally vegan.
Key phrases: 'peynir yok' (no cheese), 'yumurta yok' (no eggs). Most breakfast places accommodate once you explain what you need.
