November-February is ideal for Angkor Archaeological Park visits. December-January brings perfect light for Angkor Wat reflection photos at sunrise (6:00-6:30am) but also peak crowds from Christmas tourists.

March-May gets brutally hot — 40°C+ on exposed temple stones at Angkor Wat with zero shade. If visiting then, finish temple circuits before 10am, rest during midday heat at your guesthouse near Pub Street.

Wet season (May-October) offers lush Angkor Thom scenery and 45-50% accommodation discounts in September, but expect heavy afternoon storms 2-4pm interrupting temple photography. September wettest to avoid.
