Getting There: CPTM train from Luz station to Paranapiacaba (45 minutes, R$4.20). Trail starts 10-minute walk from station.

The Hike: Trilha do Mirante - 6km return, 400m elevation gain. Moderate difficulty, allow 3-4 hours. Trail can be muddy after rain so check conditions at park office first.

Costs: Park entry R$15, optional guides R$80. Bring water, snacks, rain jacket. Last train back is 6pm so start early morning.

Weekends get crowded with families but weekdays are peaceful. Atlantic Forest birds and views over the coastal plain make it worth the early start.
