Prague May-September is tourist hell. Charles Bridge literally shoulder-to-shoulder humans. Old Town Square unbearable with stag parties from UK.

Hit Prague in April or October instead. Weather still excellent — April has blooming trees around Petřín Hill, October amazing autumn colors in Letná Park. Crowds maybe 30% of summer levels. Hotels way cheaper too. Found great deals from 800 CZK/night in Vinohrady for places that cost double in summer peak.

Restaurants in Malá Strana aren't packed so you actually get tables without reservations. Charles Bridge actually walkable for photos. Way better experience overall.
