London accessibility reality check — Elizabeth Line great, everything else questionable

London claims things are 'accessible' but reality is mixed. Elizabeth Line is genuinely step-free and spacious. Most older Tube stations are not, despite what maps suggest.

Black cabs are fantastic — Every one takes wheelchairs, drivers know the ramps. Buses hit and miss depending on driver attitude. Many 'accessible' attractions have one tiny lift that breaks constantly.

Plan extra time, have backup routes. TfL accessibility map is optimistic at best. Call venues directly, don't trust websites.
