Masjid Jamek blue hour visit — most photogenic mosque in KL when lit up
Film grain looks incredible here at twilight. KL's oldest mosque transforms at blue hour when those onion domes glow against the darkening sky. Indo-Saracenic architecture from 1909, much more character than the sterile modern mosques.
Get there by 7pm for the perfect light timing - not the harsh afternoon sun that flattens everything. Visiting hours typically end at 8pm, so this gives you the optimal photography window. Free entry, dress code applies obviously. The river confluence behind it adds depth to compositions.
