Old royal palace turned museum is surprisingly decent when not overrun with school groups. Go Tuesday morning, have place mostly yourself.

Throne room and royal regalia genuinely impressive, audio guide well done. RM5 entry, 9am-5pm. Just avoid weekends unless you enjoy being herded like cattle.
