Everyone books Bukit Bintang for convenience but Bangsar offers better local character. More tree-lined streets, independent cafés, near university so actual neighbourhood life beyond tourism.

Bangsar Village has excellent restaurants without tourist markup. LRT connections just as good as BB but accommodation often 30% cheaper. Trade-off is fewer late-night options, more residential quiet after 11pm.

Choose BB if you want stumble home from bars. Choose Bangsar if you want live like temporary local.
