Traditional wooden abras cross Dubai Creek between Deira Old Souk and Bur Dubai stations for just 1 AED while taxis sit in E311 highway gridlock charging 25-40 AED for the same distance.

Abras run every few minutes from 5am to midnight. Five-minute crossing with dhow views and wind towers. Take Green Line to Al Ghubaiba or Gold Souq stations to reach the abra stations.
