Budapest accessibility - what works and what doesn't
Public transport: M2, M3, M4 have elevators most stations. M1 historic and not accessible - use buses/trams instead. Newer trams wheelchair accessible.
Castle Hill: Funicular wheelchair accessible, stairs aren't. Castle grounds mostly flat once up. Fisherman's Bastion has ramps as alternatives to steps.
Thermal baths: Széchenyi has lifts and accessible changing rooms. Gellért more challenging in older sections.
Restaurants: Ground floor places usually accessible but bathrooms hit-or-miss. Chains generally better than traditional spots in old buildings.
