Everyone rushes to grand palace but wat benchamabophit (marble temple) has more intricate detail work and you can actually see it without fighting through tour groups

The italian carrara marble construction is unique in thailand. Built in 1899 so its newer than most temples but the craftsmanship is incredible. ฿20 entry vs ฿500 for grand palace

I spent a month in bangkok and this was my favorite temple complex. You can walk around peacefully and actually appreciate the architecture instead of just taking selfies
