Traditional Thai tea ceremony at Raming Tea House — proper loose leaf experience

Raming Tea House in an old wooden shophouse near Wat Suthat (in the broader Ratchadamnoen area) does proper traditional Thai tea ceremonies that most tourists never experience. They serve loose-leaf cha thai the way it was meant to be drunk - hot, unsweetened, with separate condensed milk and sugar so you control the sweetness

The ceremony costs ฿150 and includes three different tea varieties plus traditional sweets. The owner explains the difference between tourist cha yen and real Thai tea culture. It's educational and surprisingly relaxing

Open Tuesday-Sunday 10 AM-6 PM, closed Mondays. No English menu but the ceremony is the same price regardless of tea selection
